Escalating Turkish shelling | Ground forces shell two villages in Manbij in Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces have fired heavy artillery shells on Al-Hamra and Tel Torin villages western of Manbij eastern of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported artillery and rocket fire by Turkish forces and their proxy factions in the early hours of Tuesday morning, targeting the villages of Al-Jat, Qurt, and Wiran, north-east of Manbij, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

Turkish forces also fired rockets and artillery shells on the villages of Al-Kawkali, Korhiuk, Jabal Al-Hamra, Al-Bughaz, and Al-Fawares farms, west of Manbij. No further details of the number of casualties or material damages were reported.

Meanwhile, a “Samarkand” member was killled and others were injured when the faction military vehicle was hit by a guided missile fired from regime and SDF of Al-Bab Military Council forces on the frontline of Al-Kuridiyah village in the countryside of Al-Bab, east of Aleppo.

Furthermore, the frontlines between “National Army” factions on one hand, and SDF military forces and regime forces on the other hand have seen overflight by Russian helicopters since the early hours of Tuesday morning.
