Russian flights on Syria-Turkey border 14 days on | Russian helicopters fly over areas in Al-Hasakah and Aleppo countryside

SOHR sources have reported that Russian helicopters took off this morning form Al-Qamishli airport and flew at a low altitude over the border strip between Syria and Turkey near Al-Qamishli city and Abu Rasin town Zarkan and other areas near the frontlines with Turkish-backed factions stationed in “Peace Spring” area in the north of Al-Hasakah.

Moreover, SOHR sources have reported seeing Russian helicopters flying over Manbij city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, where Russia has conducted flights on that area for 14 consecutive days, since the beginning of propaganda about a potential military operation by Turkish forces into SDF-controlled areas in north Syria region.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces running a joint patrol in the eastern countryside of Al-Qamishli, amid flights by two Russian helicopters over the area.

The joint patrol, comprising eight Turkish military armoured vehicles and eight Russians, set off from Deruna Agi village and toured the vicinity of the oil wells in Rumailan and Ma’bada/Turbah Sebeh countryside. This development came after joint patrols between Turkish and Russian forces in the eastern countryside of Al-Qamishli had been suspended for several months.
