Amid media circulation of potential Turkish operation | Nearly 2000 regime soldiers start deploying in Manbij

SOHR activists have reported that hundreds of regime soldiers started deploying during the past few hours in different areas of Manbij countryside in north eastern Aleppo countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the number of regime soldiers is at least 2000 soldiers and the deployment of these soldiers will occur in batches that started a few hours ago and were concentrated in areas of Al-Sajor line in Manbij countryside at Syrian-Turkish borders.

This comes in light of media talk of potential Turkish military operation in the region.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported seeing new military reinforcement arriving at the Russian base in Al-Si’aydiyah village to the west of Manbij city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, near Aleppo-Latakia international highway (M4).
According to SOHR sources, the recently-arrived reinforcement comprised nearly 15 military vehicles. The arrival of this convoy coincided with flights by Russian helicopters over Manbij city and frontlines between military formations affiliated to SDF and regime forces on one hand, and Turkish forces and factions of the “National Army” on the other.

On June 3, SOHR sources reported the arrival of military reinforcement in the Russian military base, Al-Si’aydiyah base, in Manbij countryside in rural Aleppo.

SOHR sources reported that Russian helicopters took off this morning form Al-Qamishli airport and flew at a low altitude over the border strip between Syria and Turkey near Al-Qamishli city and Abu Rasin town Zarkan and other areas near the frontlines with Turkish-backed factions stationed in “Peace Spring” area in the north of Al-Hasakah.

Moreover, SOHR sources reported seeing Russian helicopters flying over Manbij city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, where Russia conducted flights on that area for 14 consecutive days, since the beginning of propaganda about a potential military operation by Turkish forces into SDF-controlled areas in north Syria region.
