HTS-held areas | “Al-Julani” inaugurates “water well project” in area hosting Druze people

Although Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham leader, Abu Muhammad Al-Julani continues to portray himself as a civilian close to the people, he continues his hidden war against hard-line Syrian and non-Syrian jihadists in areas under HTS control in north-western Syria.

Al-Julani has recently appeared in the majority of meetings and in civilian clothes.

Last Thursday, “Al-Julani” inaugurated a “water well project” to feed several villages in Jabal Al-Samaq in the northern countryside of Idlib, in the presence of dignitaries and residents from the predominantly Druze region and “Salvation” government members, in a message to the world that he has no problem with minorities in areas under his control.

It is worth noting that Qalb Loza village, in the northern countryside of Idlib, of Jabal Al-Samaq, was subjected to a horrific massacre by members of HTS, formerly, “Al-Nusra Front,” Al-Qaeda wing in Syria, in June 2015, when nearly 20 Druze members were killed in the village by Al-Nusra members.
