Military reinforcement | Russian forces bring in attack helicopters to Abu Al-Dhuhur military airport, east of Idlib

Russian forces have brought four attack helicopters to Abu Al-Dhuhur military airport in Idlib eastern countryside, after the airport has become free of helicopters and warplanes except for a helicopter used for mobility.

It is worth noting that Abu Al-Dhuhur airport is under the control of Russian-backed “25th” Division, and the Russian-backed “25th” Division use the airport as a camp and headquarters to launch military operations in Idlib

Helicopters deployed by Russians in the airport are “two mi-24s and two ka-52s.”

It is worth noting that regime forces, backed by Iranian-backed militias and Russian air force took control of Abu Al-Dhuhur military airport in the eastern countryside of Idlib, in January 2018, after taking control of several villages and towns around the airport from the grip of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham and opposition and jihadist factions.
