SOHR: A landmine blast in Syria has killed at least 11 people, including women and children

 A bomb blast near the Syrian city of Daraa has killed at least 11 people, including women and children, and injured 34 others.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a pickup truck, killing five children and wounding three others, according to a foreign news agency.

Immediately after the blast, rescue officials rushed to the scene and the injured were taken to hospital. Hospital officials said the condition of several of the injured was critical.

Most of those killed were laborers in a wheat field.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 124 people have been killed by landmines in Syria since the beginning of 2022
