SOHR: Nearly 40 farmers killed and wounded in landmine explosion, north of Daraa

About 40 wheat-harvesting workers killed and wounded in landmine explosion in their car, northern countryside of Daraa.

SOHR has documented death of 5 civilians as a preliminary toll and the injury of nearly 30 others due to the explosion of a landmine by a car carrying wheat-harvesting workers in Deir Al-Adas town in the northern countryside of Daraa.

The death toll is believed to rise as there are some people who sustained critical injuries.

This brings to 122 the number of dead citizens documented by the observatory since the beginning of this year, including 11 women and 48 children, as a result of the explosion of mines and objects remnants of war in Syria, in addition to the injury of 177 people, including 9 women and 89 children.
