16th day in row | Russian helicopters fly over Syria-Turkey border and Al-Hasakah countryside’s frontlines

SOHR activists have reported seeing Russian helicopters flying over the border strip north of Al-Hasakah, reaching areas between areas controlled by SDF and regime on the one hand and areas controlled by Turkish forces and National Army faction in “Peace Spring” area on the other.

This flight by Russian helicopters comes amid the ongoing ceasefire a week ago on Tel Tamr and Abu Rasin frontlines.

It is worth noting that Russian warplanes fly daily in the early hours of mornings on a daily basis over the areas, while US forces also conduct almost daily patrols in Tel Tamr and in the vicinity of oil wells in Al-Rumaylan border area in Al-Hasakah countryside.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported seeing two Russian helicopters flying at low altitude over the frontlines between regime forces and SDF military forces on the one hand and “National Army” and the Turkish forces on the other, in Al-Bab countryside, reaching the countryside of Marea in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo. Then the helicopters returned to their starting point at Kuwyras airport.
