ISIS attack | SDF “public security” forces commander assassinated east of Deir Ezzor

SOHR sources have reported that two unidentified gunmen, believed to be ISIS fighters, shot dead the commander of the SDF Public Security Forces in Al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor near Al-Tikaihi bridge in the city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

SOHR has documented 93 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2022. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 71 persons dead: 29 civilians and 42 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

It is worth noting that these attacks have not included the operation of Ghuwayran prison, which left heavy losses.
