102nd joint patrol | Russian and Turkish forces tour Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside

SOHR activists have monitored new patrol conducted by Russian “Military Police” and Turkish forces in Ain Al-Arab/ Kobani countryside.
The patrol, consisting of eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles, has set off from Ashma in the western Kobani countryside.

The patrol has toured the villages of Jarqli Fawqani, Jebneh, Bayadiyah, to Zor Maghar village off Jarablus on the east bank of the Euphrates river, in the western countryside of Kobani.

The patrol has returned eastward, passing through the villages of Bayadiyah, Jebneh, Mishkko, Binder, Karakwe Tahtani, Qula and Sousan, to Asayish checkpoint near Radio west of Kobani.

The patrol then returned to the starting point of Ashmah village, while Turkish military vehicles exited via the gate near Ashmah village, while Russian military vehicles returned to their position near Sarin town, south of Kobani

It is worth noting that this patrol is the 102nd between the two sides in the region since the Russian-Turkish agreement on a ceasefire in north-eastern Syria.
