Regime atrocities | Air Intelligence officers in Al-Bokamal extort family of woman arrested days ago for paying 150 million SYP for her release

SOHR activists have reported that a patrol of regime “Air Intelligence” branch arrested a woman from Al-Bokamal city in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside for “filming military headquarters,” although, SOHR sources have confirmed that the woman was filming the house of a relative on Baghdad Street in Al-Bokamal city centre after the house was robbed.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, officers from “Air Intelligence” branch in Al-Bokamal city are negotiating with the arrested woman’s family and extorting them to pay a sum of 150 million SYP, equivalent to 37,000 USD, for her release.

On June 11, Members of “4th Division” headed by the brother of the president of the Syrian regime, Maher Al-Assad, stationed at a checkpoint on Homs-Al-Raqqah highway arrested a civilian from Palmyra in eastern homs countryside and took him to an unknown destination, SOHR activists reported.
