Military escalation | Turkish forces shell village and camp in Ain Eissa

Al-Raqqa province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces fired heavy artillery shells on the countryside of Ain Eissa northern of Al-Raqqa, where shells hit Ma’lak village and Ain Eissa camp. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

It is worth noting that the Turkish forces and their proxies fire several shells on villages in Tel Abyad and Ain Eissa countryside daily.

On June 6, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies shelled civilians’ houses in Al-Sina’a neighbourhood in Ain Eissa district in northern Al-Raqqa countryside, injuring a civilian severely and he was transported to a hospital in Ain Eissa district.

Moreover, Turkish artillery shelled a car on the International Highway western of Ain Eissa district, and shelled Hoshan and Estrahat Ain Sakr villages western of Ain Eissa.
