Escalated assassinations in Daraa | Two civilians killed by unidentified men in Daraa Al-Balad

In 12 hours, four people accused of dealing with regime, drug trafficking and promotion were killed in Daraa

In the wake of the ongoing assassinations in the southern Syrian province of Daraa, SOHR activists have reported that two people were killed by unidentified men in Daraa Al-Balad neighbourhood.

It is worth noting that the people accuse the two young men that they were engaged in drug trafficking and promotion in the region.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that unidentified gunmen shot dead two civilians, who are accused by residents of “collaborating with the Military Security”, near Al-Mazir’a area on the highway between Jassim city and Namr town in the northern countryside of Daraa.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 250, which left 202 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 100 civilians, including two women and four children.

• 82 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• 11 former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

• An ex-ISIS member.

• Seven unidentified people.

• Three militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps.
