SOHR: Syrian refugee killed by Turkish citizen in Istanbul

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported today that a Syrian refugee was stabbed to death by a Turkish person in the Turkish city of Istanbul.

A Syrian refugee from Homs was killed, after he was stabbed by a Turkish person, in front of his workplace in the Taksim area of Istanbul, Turkey. This comes eight days after the killing of a Syrian youth from the village of Hafsarja in the western countryside of Idlib, after he was shot by Turkish youths in the Esenler neighborhood of Istanbul, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

This also comes in light of the escalation of the rhetoric of racism and hatred against the Syrian refugees who are on Turkish soil in an unprecedented and systematic manner.
