ISIS attack | Ten regime soldiers killed and injured in attack on military bus in Syrian desert

Reliable sources have infomed SOHR that in the past few hours, ISIS fighters waged an attak on regime forces’ military bus in Syrian desert near regime forces’ positions in the vicinity of 55-kilometre zonr, leaving at least nine regime soldiers dead and injured.

The death toll is believed to spike due to the presence of some critical cases among injured people and reports on other deaths.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of fatalities in military operations in the Syrian desert since early 2022 has increased to 221; and they are as follows:
• 112 ISIS members were killed in Russian airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in the deserts of Homs, Al-Suwaidaa, Hama, Al-Raqqah, Deir Ezzor, and Aleppo.

• 106 soldiers of regime forces and their proxy militias were killed in 42 operations by ISIS members, including ambushes, armed attacks, and explosions, in western Euphrates and the deserts of Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah, Homs, Al-Suwaidaa, Hama and Aleppo.
