Having killed member of military police | ISIS commander arrested by military police and “National Army” factions in Al-Bab city

Reliable SOHR sources have reported that clashes erupted in a neighbourhood in Al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo between an ISIS commander and members of the military police backed by factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army.”

According to SOHR sources, the ISIS commander holed up in a house and resisted the police’s attempt to arrest him, where clashes erupted between the two sides. The clashes left a member of the military police dead and two others injured, before the police managed to arrest the commander.

In May, the security service of the 3rd Corps arrested a young man known by his initials as A. S. from Al-Bab city in Aleppo countryside for “belonging to ISIS cells.” It is worth noting that the factions’ security services previously arrested this man several times for the same charge.
