“De-Escalation zone” | Regime forces and Al-Jabha Al-Wataniyah factions trade fire in Sahl Al-Ghab
SOHR activists in the “de-escalation” zone have reported clashes with light, medium and heavy weapons between regime forces and their proxies on the one hand, and Al-Jabah Al-Wataniyah Le Al-Tahreer factions On the other hand, on Al-Amqiyah and Al-Fatatrah frontlines in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama countryside, in an attack waged by regime forces in the early hours of Saturday morning and the factions operating in the area repelled the attack. No casualties have been reported so far.
Meanwhile, the area has also witnessed an exchange of shelling between regime forces and the rebels.
On June 23, SOHR activists in Putin-Erdogan area reported an exchange of shelling between factions of the Al-Fatah Al-Mubeen Operations Room on the one hand, and regime forces and their proxies on the other, on Kabbana frontline in northern Latakia countryside and Al-Masharea frontline in Sahl Al-Ghab in northwest countryside of Hama. The faction and regime forces also exchanged heavy machineguns.
Moreover, regime forces also shelled areas in Al-Fatirah, Fulayfel, Safohn and Bayannin in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties were reported.
Russian reconnaissance aircraft also flew over Sahl Al-Ghab, Jabal Al-Akrad and Jabal Al-Zawiyah.
