Affected by wounds | SDF member dies after days of being attacked in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have documented the death of an SDF member affected by the wounds he sustained when unidentified gunmen believed to be ISIS members shot him.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the victim hails from Al-Hosainiyah village in northern Deir Ezzor countryside, and was transported to the hospital after being shot nearly ten days ago.

SOHR activists have documented the injury of an SDF member, where unidentified gunmen shot him while he was with another member near Euphrates river between Al-Tayana and Al-Shinan areas in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

Since early 2022, SOHR has documented 98 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 76 persons dead: 30 civilians and 46 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces, and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

It is worth noting that these attacks have not included the operation of Ghuwayran prison, which left heavy losses.
