While collecting “Capers Flowers” | Children injured in landmine explosion in Aleppo
Aleppo province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of three children due to the explosion of an old landmine, while they were collecting “Capers Flowers” (Al-Shaflah) in Arba’a Saghir village southern of Manbij city in eastern Aleppo countryside, where the children were transported to the hospital to receive proper medication.
A civilian sustained serious injuries this afternoon in the explosion of an old landmine in Qarmough village in the eastern countryside of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani).
Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 125 civilians, including nine women and 54 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 187 civilians, including nine women and 97 children, sustained various injuries in the same period. Among the total death toll, a man and his son were killed in the collapse of a war-damaged building in Darya city in Rif Dimashq, as well as the death of four civilians in the collapse of another building in Jubar neighbourhood.
