Military escalation | Tit-for-tat rocket fire between Turkish forces and SDF “Manbij” forces east of Aleppo, while “Ahrar Al-Sham” member killed in infiltration attempt

SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and National Army factions have fired dozens of shells on six overpopulated villages in northern countryside of Manbij city.

Responding to Turkish shelling, SDF “Manbij Military Council” forces have targeted the villages of Arab Hassan, Al-Baldaq and Al-Mughayir in the eastern countryside of Jarablus in eastern Aleppo countryside.

Meanwhile, Ahrar Al-Sham member was killed while trying to infiltrate a military post on the outskirts of Arab Hassan village in Jarablus countryside adjacent to Manbij countryside.

It is worth noting that the exchange of bombardment between the two parties go on so far.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that several missiles and artillery shells hit the outskirts of Hozan and Al-Shaikh Aolan villages in areas held by Turkish forces and their proxies, where the shells were fired from areas held by regime forces and the SDF-backed Al-Bab Military Council.

On the other hand, Turkish forces and their proxies fired heavy artillery shells on areas held by the regime forces and Al-Bab Military Council. However, no casualties were reported.
