To collect ransoms | Military Police and Luwaa Al-Waqas arrest three civilians in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that a patrol of the Turkish-backed Luwaa Al-Waqas arrested a civilian from Marwaniyah Tahtany village in Jinderes district in Afrin countryside on June 24, for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration”, to collect ransoms.

On the other hand, members of a Military Police patrol arrested two civilians from “Zaytonaka” village in Shiran district in Afrin countryside, for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration”, and they were released after their parents paid 500 USDs ransoms for each of them.

SOHR activists have reported that a patrol of Political Security Forces arrested a civilian from Qarzihel village in Shiraw district in Afrin countryside for “dealing with former Kurdish forces” to collect ransom on June 23.

On June 17, a group of members of Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah faction severely attacked a father and his son, who is from Sindiankah village in Jendires district in Afrin countryside, seizing his house by force of arms, following disagreements between the civilian and a member of Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah.

Moreover, Al-Sultan Murad faction has imposed a levy of 50 USD on the harvesters in the villages of Qastal Kishk and Qarqalaq in Sharan district and imposed a levy of (a bag of wheat) on each farmer.

Furthermore, Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah faction also imposed a levy of 400 USD on a bus driver from Afrin for “delivering employees work at Autonomous-Administration to Al-Shahbaa areas during Autonomous Administration’s control over Afrin.
