Third day in row | Russian jets and helicopters fly over Syria-Turkey border and Al-Hasakah and Al-Raqqah countryside frontlines

SOHR activists have reported that Russian warplanes flew extensively over the border strip between Al-Qamishli and areas separating the areas controlled by SDF and regime on one side and areas controlled by Turkish forces and their backed factions on the other in Abu Rasin/Zarkan, passing over Amuda and Al-Darbasiyah back and forth to Al-Raqqah countryside from Monday midnight till Tuesday dawn. While Russian helicopters are still flying at low altitudes.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Russian fighter jets flew at low altitude from Al-Qamishli airport over Syrian-Turkish border strip and frontlines between SDF and regime forces on one side and Turkish forces and “National Army” factions on the other in Al-Hasakah and Al-Raqqah countryside from midnight till the early hours of Sunday morning.

Moreover, Russian helicopters had also flown over the frontlines and border areas in the early morning hours.

It is worth noting that the frontlines between SDF and regime forces on the one hand and Turkish forces and National Army factions on the other hand in the countryside of Al-Hasakah and Al-Raqqah have witnessed ongoing caution calm, compared to the beginning of the Turkish media’s military escalation and daily bombardment in the region.
