New reinforcement | Coalition convoy of 50 vehicles enters NE Syria

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported seeing a new convoy of the International Coalition arriving in north-east Syria region from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, via Al-Waleed border crossing. The convoy, which comprised over 50 trucks carrying covered boxes and fuel trucks, passed by Al-Qamishli city this afternoon on its way to Coalition bases in Al-Hasakah countryside.

 

On June 26, SOHR activists reported that nearly 40 International Coalition trucks unloaded military, fuels and logistical supplies in military bases in north and east Syria, where the convoy entered on the previous day through Al-Waleed border crossing with Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

 

While on June 20, SOHR activists monitored the entry of an International Coalition convoy of nearly 30 trucks loaded with logistical and military suppliess from Kurdistan region of Iraq via Al-Walid border crossing into its bases in Al-Hasakah and Deir Ezzor.

 

Similarly, on June 19, SOHR activists monitored the entry of a new International Coalition convoy to northern and eastern of Syria coming from Kurdistan-Iraq region, where the convoy entered through Al-Walid border crossing and headed towards Al-Qamishly city, and then towards the military bases in Al-Hasakah and Deir Ezzor. The convoy comprised 30 trucks carrying logistic and military materials.

 

Also, on June 16, SOHR sources reported that a convoy of the “International Coalition” entered areas in north and east Syria, coming from Kurdistan region of Iraq via Al-Walid border crossing. The convoy comprised 76 vehicles loaded with logistical and military supplies. The coalition convoy headed towards military bases in Al-Hasakah in north and east Syria.

 

On June 6, SOHR activists reported seeing trucks of the International Coalition exit from Al-Hasakah city and head towards coalition bases in Al-Shaddadi and Deir Ezzor.

 

This coincided with Turkish threats to launch military operations in areas in northern and eastern Syria.
