Security chaos | Family armed clashes between cousins leave person killed in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a person in disputes between cousins in Al-Hosan town in SDF-held areas, escalating to clashes with trade fire between them, with tension among the residents and interference of the dignitaries to resolve the disputes.

This comes in light of the increasing cases of tribal clashes and murder for revenge in Deir Ezzor province.

On June 29, SOHR activists reported that a man and his son were shot dead by their cousin, in Al-Suwaya’yah village on Syria-Iraq border in Al-Bokamal countryside, east of Deir Ezzor.

According to SOHR activists, the murderer’s motive is “revenge.”

Syrian Observatory activists reported that two siblings were killed in Al-Dahlah in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, by their cousin for revenge.

It is worth noting that the two dead men are from Jadid Akidat town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
