Military escalation | Turkish rockets hit areas in Ain Issa countryside and M4 international highway north of Al-Raqqah, while Russian military convoy arrives at Ain Issa base

Syrian Observatory activists have reported intensive rocket fire by Turkish forces and “National Army” factions targeting Sidon and M4 international highway in the countryside of Ain Issa district, the “capital of the Autonomous Administration” north of Al-Raqqah.

Turkish shelling has coincided with the arrival of a Russian convoy at Ain Issa base.

This morning, SOHR sources reported that a SDF military commander and three members were killed after being directly targeted by a bomb planted on the commander’s car while it passed between Ain Issa camp and Tel Al-Samen checkpoints in northern Al-Raqqah countryside.
