Military escalation | Turkish forces clash with Kurdish and regime forces north of Aleppo

Violent clashes have erupted between Turkish-backed National Army factions on one side and regime and Kurdish forces on the other on the frontlines of Umm Al-Qura and Maranaz villages north of Aleppo.

These clashes have coincided with mutual bombardment between Turkish and regime forces on the frontlines north of Aleppo. No further details about the number of casualties and material damage have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and “National Army” factions bombarded four villages in the western countryside of Manbij, east of Aleppo, where shells hit the villages of Aoun Al-Dadat, Arab Hassan, Al-Arbaa Al-Kilo and Al-Mohsenli, north-west of Manbij.
