For “smuggling weapons” | “Maghawir Al-Thawra” arrests young man in the 55th Kilometer zone near Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian borders

SOHR activists have reported that members of Jaish Maghawir Al-Thawra arrested a young man possessing weapons, which he intended to smuggle from the 55th Kilometer zone to regime-held areas.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the checkpoints in the 55th Kilometer zone arrested the young man possessing an amount of individual weapons, and took him to the security centres.

On June 12, groups of drug traffickers affiliated with Lebanon’s Hezbollah and regime security services failed to smuggle a drug shipment into Jordan from the southeastern countryside of Al-Suwaydaa countryside, Syrian Observatory sources reported.

According to SOHR sources, clashes took place between smugglers and Jordanian army border guards after being ambushed and fled towards Syrian territory, leaving behind the shipment of drugs confiscated by Jordanian border guards.
