IS members accompanied by armed woman arrest a man and his wife and other 13 persons in al-Mayadeen

SOHR was informed that the “Islamic State” carried out raids on the homes of citizens in the city of al-Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, one of the arrested citizens was previously a fighter in rebel and Islamic factions, reliable sources from the city confirmed to activists of the Observatory that the organization arrested a man and his wife among the 15 detainees, while an armed woman accompanied IS members during the raid, the “Islamic State” had already carried out arrests at the end of the first third of this month, in the city of al-Bokamal and arrested IS members and other citizen, sources told the activists of the Observatory that they were connected to one of IS commanders who was killed when coalition warplane targeted him in the countryside of al-Bokamal city on the borders with Iraq, at that time the “Islamic State” carried out arrests in al-ShHil town the former stronghold of Al-Nusra Front (al-Qaeda in Levant) in Syria, where the “Islamic State” arrested people in connection with a person who has worked earlier as mediator to stop the fighting between the “Islamic state” and factions in the town of al-ShHil, the Observatory activists were not able until now to know the reasons for the arrests and the charges against the detainees.
