Military exercises in “Peace Spring” | Turkish forces and their proxies destroy six huts in Ras Al-Ain

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that the Turkish forces and their proxies conducted military exercises this evening, in Al-Araziyah village in Ras Al-Ain eastern countryside in “Peace Spring” area opposite to Abo Rasen town north western of Al-Haskaah.

Turkish forces used machineguns and artillery weapons targeting abandoned huts as targets, where six huts were destroyed.

This comes in light of the propaganda and intimidation by Turkish media agencies about a Turkish military operation on SDF-held areas in northern and north eastern of Syria.

On June 18, SOHR activists reported that Turkish-backed factions, in the presence of Turkish officers, had been conducting live-fire exercises in eastern Ras Al-Ain/Sere Kanye countryside in Al-Hasakah countryside in “Peace Spring” area near the frontllines with areas controlled by SDF and regime forces west of Abu Rasin.

These military exercises came as part of Turkey’s escalation and the imminent military operation in areas controlled by SDF.
