Including tanks and heavy weapons | Huge reinforcements enter SDF-held areas in Aleppo and Al-Raqqa
Aleppo province: SOHR activists have monitored the arrival of huge regime military reinforcements to the frontlines in Manbij in eastern Aleppo countryside and Ain Eissa in northern Al-Raqqa countryside.
The reinforcements comprise dozens of heavy weapons and tanks, where a military convoy comprising over 50 military vehicles was spotted heading from Aleppo towards Al-Raqqa and crossed Qarkozak bridge.
Moreover, a huge convoy arrived to the frontlines of Al-Arima village in Manbij countryside, and comprised dozens of machineries, and stationed near the frontlines with Turkish-backed factions.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the military convoys keep entering from regime areas in Aleppo to Manbij through Al-Tayha crossing eastern Aleppo.
SOHR activists reported that regime forces brought military reinforcements to regime-held areas in southern Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo countryside.
The reinforcements comprised tanks, heavy weapons and nearly 500 soldiers and deployed near Tel Aswad and Haimar Al-Jaish villages in area adjacent to regime-held areas with SDF.
On June 3, SOHR activists reported that Russian forces brought military reinforcements to military base known as Al-Sae’diyah in Manbij countryside, north eastern of Aleppo.
This came in light of the Russian military escalation in north eastern of Syria for a few days, coinciding with media escalation by Turkish side and the Turkish president’s (Recep Tayyip Erdogan) media about launching a Turkish military operation on the area.
