IED attack | Collaborator with regime security services injured in western Daraa countryside

A medium explosion was heard in Al-Yadoudah town in the western countryside of Daraa Tuesday morning caused by the explosion of an IED planted by unidentified persons near the greenhouse in Al-Yadoudah in Daraa, injuring a person working for regime security services.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that unidentified gunmen shot two members of a local group of the Military Security, in Ebtae’ town in the middle Daraa countryside. However, no casualties were reported.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 284, which left 238 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 117 civilians, including two women and five children.

• 98 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• 12 former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

• An ex-ISIS member.

• Seven unidentified people.

• Three militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps.
