First bombardment in nearly two months | Russian airstrikes hit ‘Putin-Erdogan ‘area in Idlib countryside
Syrian Observatory activists in Putin-Erdogan area have monitored renewed Russian aerial bombardment for the first time in nearly two months.
On Wednesday morning, Russian fighter jets executed three airstrikes on areas in Bayanin forest and Al-Ruwaihah in the southern Idlib countryside. No casualties have been reported so far.
On the other hand, Regime forces have fired heavy machineguns and shelled areas in the vicinity of Ma’arat Al-Naa’san town in northern Idlib countryside.
On May 12, 2022, SOHR activists reported that Russian fighter jets had executed four airstrikes targeting the vicinity of Muntaf, Kafr Lata and Maa’rzaf villages in Idlib countryside, injuring a civilian and causing material damage.
