Military escalation | Turkish base shells three villages in Kurdish-held areas in Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces stationed in Thalsana base near Marae’ city, shelled the outskirts of Um Al-Hawsh, Hirbal and Um Al-Qora within Kurdish-held areas in northern Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported violent clashes with heavy and medium machineguns between factions of the “National Army” on one hand, and Kurdish and regime forces on the other on Harbal-Mare’ frontline in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The clashes coincided with exchange of artillery fire on the frontlines between the two sides.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that dozens of families displaced from Al-Kuridiyah and Al-A’jmi villages which are under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in Al-Bab countryside, east of Aleppo to safer places.

This exodus followed artillery and rocket attacks on the two villages from areas controlled by Kurdish and regime forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
