In recurring scene | Tribal clashes erupt in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have monitored tribal clashes with machineguns in Al-Sabha town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, between Al-Moshahda tribe and Al-Kabida tribe due to quarrels that developed to clashes. Meanwhile, residents appeal dignitaries to break the clashes. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

On July 5, SOHR activists reported that a fight broke out between Al-Mahal and Al-Khodrawat families, cousins of El-Azar tribe, which lives in Al-Bahrah village, east of Deir Ezzor.

This fight developed into tribe fighting between the two families, leaving a man from Al-Mahalla family dead and three members of Al-Khadrawat family injured.

The injured people were taken to the hospital for treatment, amid tension in Al-Bahrah village, east of Deir Ezzor.

This came in light of the escalating incidents of tribal fighting and murder for revenge in Deir Ezzor province.

On July 3, SOHR activists reported that clashes between cousins in Al-Husan town in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor renewed on Sunday morning.
These clashes left a person dead and four others injured.
In these clashes, medium and light weapons and rockets were used by both parties.
It is worth noting that SDF intervened and set up checkpoints and barriers between the two parties so that there would be no further clash between them.
Meanwhile, dignitaries of Al-Bakarah tribe arrived to resolve the family dispute.

On July 2, SOHR activists reported the outbreak of armed fighting between cousins of Al-Bakir tribe in Al-Sour city, north of Deir Ezzor, killing one person as he was hit by stray bullets and clashes continue to this moment as tension continues in the area.
This came in light of the escalating incidents of tribal fighting and murder for revenge in Deir Ezzor province.
