New assassinations | Unknown gunmen shoot dead “collaborator” with regime military security branch in western Daraa

SOHR activists have reported that unknown gunmen shot dead a man in Bawa city in western Daraa. According to SOHR sources, the hit man was a former member in an opposition faction. The man had struck a reconciliation deal, after regime forces had regained control o the entire province in 2018, and he worked for the regime military security branch.

 

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 293, which left 251 people dead; and they are as follows:

 

  • 124 civilians, including two women and five children.

 

  • 104 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

 

  • 12 former fighters who did not joined any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

 

  • An ex-ISIS member.

 

  • Seven unidentified people.

 

  • Three militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th
