Putin-Erdogan area | Regime forces target areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah south of Idlib

SOHR activists in Putin-Erdogan area have reported rocket fire by regime forces on areas in Bayannin, Fulayfel and the outskirts of Al-Fatirah in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, regime forces and the factions operating in the area have exchanged heavy machineguns in Al-Masharea’ frontline in Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that two Russian fighter jets executed eight airstrikes, targeting the vicinity of Mashon and Belshoun villages in Jabal Al-Zawiyah near “M4” international highway.

This bombardment coincided with the ongoing rockets and artillery shelling carried out by regime forces, targeting the vicinity of Majdaliya, Bayanin and its forest and the vicinity of Al-Fatriyah town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib.

SOHR activists als0 reported intensive rocket and artillery shelling carried out by the regime forces, targeting the entire villages of the eastern frontline in Jabal al-Zawiyah and Jabal al-Arba’een, including the villages and inareas in Bayanin, and its forests, Al-Ruwayha, Majdaliyah and Muntaf in southern Idlib countryside.

Meanwhile, Two Russian fighter jets also carried out three airstrikes, targeting the vicinity of the villages of Mashon and Balshoun in Jabal Al-Zawiyah near “M 4” International highway.

This development coincided with an intensive flight by Russian reconnaissance aircraft over Jabal Al-Zawiyah, Sahl Al-Ghab anan d Jabal Al-Akrad.

Furthermore, Al-Kabbanah frontline in Jabal Al-Akrad, north of Latakia witnessed an exchange of mortar shelling between Al-Fateh Al-Mubin factions and regime forces.

On July 6, SOHR activists reported that Russian fighter jets had carried out ten airstrikes, targeting Al-Ruwayha, Shanan, Sarjah, Bayanin and its forest in southern Idlib countryside.
