Trial flights | Iran-backed militias test drones in Al-Mayadeen area in western Euphrates “Iranian colony in Syria”

SOHR sources have reported that Iranian-backed militias Al-Mazarea’ area in Al-Mayadeen desert in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor have tested Iranian-made drones dubbed Ababil 3. The drones have taken off from Al-Mazzarea’ area in Al-Mayadeen desert and flew towards the desert, hitting several targets with live ammunition.

On July 14, SOHR sources in western Euphrates, “the Iranian colony in Syria,” reported that during the past hours, Iraqi Najbaa militia brought in three trucks to its warehouses in Al-Mazarea’ area in Al-Mayadeen desert in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

Iranian-backed militiamen transported weapons and ammunition from those warehouses in tunnels in Al-Mayadeen desert to the trucks, which drove to Deir Ezzor-Al-Raqqah road.

According to SOHR sources, the trucks would head to the areas of Dibsi Faraj and Dibsi Afnan in western Al-Raqqah desert, within areas under the control of Iranian-backed militias and regime forces.

It is worth noting that the militiamen would fortify and reinforce their recently established new positions on Al-Raqqah-Aleppo highway.
