Deir Ezzor | Russian forces distribute food baskets on residents

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that Russian reconciliation centre distributed 300 food baskets today, to residents of Mirat village northern of Deir Ezzor.

The baskets comprise (flour, rice, oil and tea), in an attempt by the Russian forces to win over the people.

This is the third batch of food baskets distributed by the Russian forces to residents of the villages they control northern of Deir Ezzor since June.

On July 12, SOHR activists reported that Russian forces distributed food baskets to residents of Al-Hosainiyah village in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor in regime-held areas.

According to reliable SOHR sources, 300 food baskets containing vegetable oil, flour, rice and tea were distributed, in an attempt to win over the people in the area.

On June 24, SOHR activists reported that Russian military forces handed food baskets to residents of Hatla village in Deir Ezzor countryside in regime-held areas.

According to reliable SOHR sources, 60 food baskets were handed to residents in the presence of the village’s mayor. The baskets comprise rice, oil, flour, tea and others in an attempt to win people’s affection.
