Arrested by “Asayish” four years ago | Journalists stage vigil to call for releasing correspondent Muhammad Al-Sagheer in Al-Hasakah

Several pro-regime Syrian journalists have staged a vigil outside Justice Palace in Al-Hasakah, calling for the release of the Syria’s press channel’s correspondent, Mohammed Al-Sagheer, who was arrested by Al-Asayish Forces in June 2019.

The correspondent was arrested at a checkpoint on A-Hasakah-Al-Qamishili road on a charge of “participating in setting wheat fields in the Syrian Jazeera on fire.

This vigil comes in light of reports of the journalist’s deteriorating health inside the prison

It is worth noting that Mohammed Al-Sagheer, who is from Al-Raqqah province, has a security card issued by State Security service before he was arrested.
