Security vacuum | Brother of commander of military intelligence branch killed in armed attack on headquarters in Al-Quneitra countryside

SOHR sources have reported that unknown gunmen have attacked the headquarters of a commander of Sa’sa’ military intelligence branch in Mumtanah town. The attack left the commander’s brother who was a member of the military security service dead, while the commander’s sun sustained serious injuries and was taken to Mamdouh Abazah hospital in Al-Quneitra.

 

According to SOHR sources, the commander, whose headquarters was attacked today, is a drug dealer and has been involved in assassinations and kidnaps of individuals from that region.

 

On July 10, SOHR sources reported the death of the leader of a local military group was shot dead by unknown gunmen on the road to Jabba in middle Al-Quneitra countryside, near the border with the occupied Syrian Golan.
