For unknown reasons | Young man kills himself in Manbij city in eastern Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that a young man in his thirties hanged himself in Al-Sab’a Bahrat area in Manbij city in eastern Aleppo countryside, within areas held by Manbij Military Council.

The young man hails from Al-Raqqa of Al-Afadla tribe. However, the reasons behind his suicide remain unknown.

This came in light of the escalating rate of suicides throughout Syria and for various reasons, including poor living conditions, extreme poverty, unemployment and psychological problems related to social conditions.

On June 23, SOHR activists reported that a young man committed suicide by detonating a grenade himself at his house in Tel Barak area in Al-Hasakah countryside.
