Renewed bombardment | Turkish shelling on Tel Tamr countryside put power station out of service

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions in their positions in the eastern countryside of Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kanye) have shelled areas controlled by SDF in Umm Al-Kif village in Tel Tamr countryside, north-west of Al-Hasakah on Saturday morning.

Turkish direct shelling on the power station’s feeder put Tel Tamr power station out of service. No casualties have been reported.

On June 26, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions continued their intensive bombardment since that morning, targeting positions in Al-Dardarah and Um Al-Kaif villages in Tel Tamr countryside in north-western Al-Hasakah. According to SOHR activists, the violent bombardment led to putting a power plant in Um Al-Kaif village out of service, after being hit directly with Turkish shells.
