Fifth incident in July | NDF members and supporters block US patrol in southern Al-Qamishli

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that pro-regime individuals and members of the National Defence Forces (NDF) blocked a US patrol of five armoured vehicles in Tel Al-Zahab village in the southern countryside of Al-Qamishli city. The patrol took another way, while no skirmishes were reported. It is worth noting that this was the fifth incident of its kind in July.

On July 12, SOHR activists reported that regime loyalists and “National Defence Forces” members blocked a US military patrol of five armoured vehicles and forced it to change its way in Al-Salihiyah village in south Al-Qamishli countryside.

It is worth noting that intercepting US patrols in areas in Al-Hasakah and Al-Qamishli countryside by residents and regime loyalists has become a recurrent event.
