IED attack | Regime officer injured in Daraa city

Dara province: SOHR activists have reported that an IED exploded in a car carrying a regime officer in the press area in Daraa city on Monday morning, leaving the officer injured.

SOHR activists have just reported that unidentified gunmen opened fire on a military security checkpoint in an area between Da’il and Ibta’ in central Daraa countryside, in the early hours of Monday morning. No casualties have been reported.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 311, which left 266 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 129 civilians, including three women and five children.

• 113 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• 13 former fighters who did not join any military formation

• Seven unidentified people.

• Three militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps., after striking reconciliation deals.

• An ex-ISIS member.
