Arbitrary arrests | Military police arrest three civilians in Afrin city and Raju district

Aleppo province: SOHR activists reported that a military police patrol arrested a civilian from Afrin on July 25 for “joining YPG” during Kurdish forces’ control over Afrin.

While on July 23, military police arrested two civilians from Zirka village in Raju district for “going out in guard shifts and formerly joining community protection forces in Afrin city.”

On July 28, SOHR activists reported that a patrol of the Civil Police arrested three civilians from Ma’mal Oshagy village in Ma’batly district Afrin countryside, for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration”, to collect ransoms.

On July 26, SOHR activists reported that a civil police patrol arrested two civilians from Aghilah village in Jendires district in Afrin countryside for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration,” in the past few days.

Meanwhile, five members of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah faction severely beat a civilian from Aleppo and insulted him, under the pretext that the civilian was standing near a building inhabited by Al-Jabah Al-Shamiyyah’s families.
