108th joint patrol | Russian Military Police and Turkish forces tour Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

SOHR activists have monitored new patrol conducted by Russian “Military Police” and Turkish forces in Ain Al-Arab/ Kobani countryside.

The patrol, consisting of eight military vehicles, has set off from amsha village, west of Kobani.

The patrol has toured the villages of Jarqli Fawqani, Qaran, Dikmadash, Khorkhuri, Boban, Seftek and Gul Bey to Tel Al-Shaeer, four kilometres to the west of Ain Al-Arab.

The patrol then returned from another road and toured the villages of Susan, Qula, Qarah Quah Tahtani, Binder, Mishkko, Jebnah, Jarqali Fawqani all the way to Ashmah village from which the patrols set out.

On July 25, SOHR activists monitored a new patrol conducted by Russian “Military Police” and Turkish forces in Ain Al-Arab/ Kobani countryside.

The patrol, consisting of four military vehicles from both sides, set off from Gharib village, east of Kobani.

The joint patrol toured the villages of Kosk, A’lishar, Joum Ali, Karbnaf, Kobak Satan, Kortak, Terri, Tel Hajib, Hulaqiyah, Kharabisan, and Jayishan, then returned to its starting point again, amid flight by two Russian helicopters.

It is worth noting that this patrol is the 108th between the two sides in the region since the Russian-Turkish agreement on a ceasefire in north-eastern Syria.
