Arbitrary arrests | Four civilians, including woman, arrested by Military Police in Afrin countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that members of a Military Police patrol arrested four civilians, including a woman, from Jendires district in Afrin countryside in late July for ” dealing with the former Autonomous Administration” to collect ransoms.

On July 31, SOHR activists reported that during the past days, a Military Police patrol arrested four civilians from Jendires district in Afrin countryside for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration” to collect ransoms.

Meanwhile, members of Al-Sultan Suleiman Shah “Amshat” faction severely beat two civilians from Jendires district, one of whom is a seller, for refusing to sell food to Amashat faction members for free.

Al-Sultan Suleiman Shah “Amshat” militiamen beat another civilian under fabricated pretext of stealing money from the house of a member of Amshat faction.
