Daraa security chaos | Unidentified gunmen assassinate civilian in eastern countryside
Daraa province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a civilian, who underwent reconciliation with the regime in 2018, where unidentified gunmen shot him dead in Al-Hirak city in eastern Daraa countryside.
It is worth noting that the civilian was accused of “drug dealing and promoting”, and was directly shot on May 8, 2022, where he suffered severe injuries.
Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 323, which left 277 people dead; and they are as follows:
• 133 civilians, including three women and five children.
• 119 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.
• 14 former fighters who did not joined any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.
• An ex-ISIS member.
• Seven unidentified people.
• Three militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps.
