Afrin | Four Turkish soldiers among seven people injured in artillery fire on perimeter of Turkish base

Aleppo province: SOHR initial reports have confirmed the injury of seven guards, including four Turkish soldiers, due to the artillery attack on the perimeter of the Turkish base in Anab village in Afrin countryside.

SOHR activists have just reported that artillery shells fired form areas where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed in Aleppo countryside hit the perimeter of the Turkish base in Anab village in eastern Afrin.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces and their proxy factions reacted to the bombardment by shelling Shawarghah village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside and Kafr Anton in northern Aleppo. However, no further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the bombardment.

Yesterday, SOHR activists monitored sporadic clashes with machineguns between the “National Army” on one hand, and Kurdish and regime forces on the other on the frontlines of Mar’anaz village in north Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties were reported.

Also, Kurdish and regime forces targeted the surrounding areas of Azaz city with heavy machineguns.

On the other hand, violent clashes with heavy and medium weapons erupted between the “National Army” and regime forces on the frontline of Al-Ghouz village and other areas near Abu Al-Zendayn crossing in Al-Bab countryside, along with firing light bombs by Turkish forces over that region.

Moreover, Turkish forces stationed in Thalthanah base on the outskirts of Mare’ city in the northern countryside of Aleppo fired over 15 rockets and artillery shells on the surrounding areas of Sheikh Issa village in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.
