For “belonging to ISIS” | Military Police raid houses and arrest woman, her children and activist in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that members of a Military Police patrol launched a raiding campaign in Jinderes district in Afrin countryside north western of Aleppo, and arrested women, children and a member of the “Syrian Media Union” displaced from Homs province.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the patrol arrested a media activist, a woman and her two children, who are displaced from Homs province, for “belonging to ISIS”, where the Military Police were forced to release the woman and her children under pressure of Homs residents. However, the fate of the media activist remains unknown.

On the same context, members of a Military Police patrol arrested a civilian a few days ago from Ma’rata village in Afrin countryside northern of Aleppo while he was returning from Aleppo, for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration”, to collect ransoms.
